Trade
All Australian domestic plantation timber products and paper production competes against overseas production in both domestic (through imports) and export markets. A3P will work co-operatively with the Australian Government for the removal of barriers to trade (such as subsidies, tariffs etc) distorting world trade in plantation timber and paper products; advocate, develop and implement optimal policy settings and incentives; and ensure a level playing field for domestic industry.
