PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP
A3P members recognise product stewardship as an important concept in the design, production and marketing of their products. In both the office paper and used timber areas, product stewardship groups have been developed to look at ways to effectively and efficiently increase the recovery and re-use of post consumer papers and timber.
In recent years this has led to considerable increases in recovery, and in a number of areas Australia either leads or meets worlds best performance. A3P and it's members continue to work with governments and all stakeholders to improve the ongoing sustainability of wood and paper products through a commitment to product stewardship.
