Ms Linda Sewell, HVP Plantations
Ms Linda Sewell is the Chief Executive Officer of HVP Plantations. Ms Sewell joined HVP Plantations after a 10-year tenure at Carter Holt Harvey (CHH) during which she served as the founding CEO for the company's laminated veneer lumber (LVL) products division.

Mr Sonny Coleiro, Amcor
Mr Sonny Coleiro is the Group General Manager - Paper and Board Division Amcor. After working for Melbourne Water and Comalco, Mr Coleiro commenced employment with Amcor in 1980 at Fairfield Paper Mill in Melbourne and has held numerous positions in the Paper Division covering Commercial and Operational areas in Corporate, Local and Interstate manufacturing sites.
Dr Hans Drielsma, Forestry Tasmania
Dr Hans Drielsma is the Executive General Manager for Forestry Tasmania. Prior to his current role he was Managing Director of State Forests of NSW, having held a number of operational and planning positions in that organisation. He has wide experience in national and global forest policy issues particularly relating to sustainability and forest certification.
Mr John Hayden, AKD Softwoods
Mr John Hayden is the Chief Executive Officer of AKD Softwoods and Chairman of the A3P Solid Wood Committee. Mr Hayden Joined AKD Softwoods in 1981 as Operations Manager and was a Board member of PTAA and PTC prior to the amalgamation with APIC.
Mr John McNamara, Hyne and Son
John McNamara, Managing Director of Hyne Timber, has had in excess of 35 years experience in the timber industry and held senior positions with Auspine Limited, Risby Forest Industries and Boral. John has also had tenures as Chairman for Timber Qld, President of Pine Australia and as Director on numerous boards.
Mr Jim Snelson, Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts Australia
Mr Snelson, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts Australia Group of Companies since April 2006. Prior to his current role he was Chief Executive of Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Australia - he held this role from July 2003 through to March 2006.
Mr Brian Farmer, Forestry Plantations Queensland
Mr Brian Farmer is currently the Chief Executive of Forestry Plantations Queensland. Prior to working with Forestry Plantations Queensland, Mr Farmer worked in South Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales in various forest based organisations with major responsibilities in forest operations, sales and marketing, business development and environmental protection.
Mr Andrew Leighton, Norske Skog Australasia
Mr Leighton is the Regional President for Norske Skog’s Australasian Operation. He has held senior positions in the Pulp and Paper Industry since 1994, having worked previously with Fletcher Challenge Paper both in Canada and Australia. He holds an Honours BA in Economics and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada.
Dr Jon Ryder, Australian Paper
Dr Jon Ryder is currently the Group General Manager, Corporate Planning at Australian Paper. Jon was previously Group General Manager, Manufacturing Strategy at PaperlinX. He joined PaperlinX in May 2006 as General Manager for the Tasmanian and Shoalhaven Mills. Jon has held a wide range of international senior roles in the pulp and paper industry over the past 20 years and has a PhD in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing.
